Holy Week is just around the corner, if you have decided to spend the Easter holidays in Catalonia and specifically in the city of Blanes, you can immerse yourself in the most deeply rooted Catalan traditions during these important dates for its citizens. Whether you travel alone or with your family, let yourself be carried away by the activities organized in the municipality, in order to live a unique experience on your trip.

The Holy Week begins on Sunday, March 25, Palm Day, with the traditional blessing of the palms, which serves to recall the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem. During the week the traditional processions stand out, such as the one of Santo Cristo, the one of the Image of the Virgin, the one of the Resurrected Christ and the one of the Song of the Angel. The Holy week of Easter ends on Monday, April 2, Easter Day, with the traditional Easter cake in which the godparents give their godson or goddaughter a cake with chocolate figures.
